St. Nectarios Greek Fest in Palatine once again hosted its acclaimed outdoor festival, a true celebration of food, family and fun during the first official weekend of summer.

Happy visitors enjoyed signature Greek food items include flaming Saganaki, pastichio, gyros, Athenian chicken, spinach pie and more. Guests also feasted on sweet treats like baklava, butter cookies, a nice variety of pastries and St. Nectarios' famous loukoumades!

Live music was provided by The GooRoos (Friday night), and the Greek band Rythmos (Sat and Sun night).

This event gallery is sponsored by Concorde Banquets in Kildeer where a beautifully modern facility provides the perfect setting for your upcoming special event. Elegant ballrooms can accommodate weddings and any corporate function for up to 800 people.

St. Demetrios of Elmhurst Greek Fest (2022)

St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Elmhurst welcomed everyone back to its popular 3-day festival where guests enjoyed great food, drinks, music, dancing and fun for the kids.

Authentic Greek food included souvlaki, freshly sliced gyros, pastichio, spanakopita (spinach pie), Athenian chicken and more. Sweet treats included loukoumades, baklava and a variety of Greek pastries.

Live music Friday night was provided by Hi-Infidelity (classic rock cover band). The Panopoulos Orchestrate played Greek music Sat and Sun nights. The entire staff at St Demetrios thanks everyone for their support and looks forward to serving you again next year.

Big Greek Food Fest of Niles (2021)

St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church hosted its annual "Big Greek Food Fest of Niles" where guests enjoyed great food, drinks, live music, dancing, gift shopping, cooking demonstrations and more.

Specialty food items included souvlaki, Athenian chicken, pastichio, moussaka, spinach pie (spanakopita), salads, grilled octopus, dolmades and a nice selection of beer, wine and soft drinks. The pastry tent and coffee shop served Greek desserts including baklava, greek cookies and of course, loukoumades (hot deep-fried honey puffs)!

Live entertainment was provided by RYTHMOS band and the DIONYSOS Greek dance troupe. The entire church staff thanks everyone for their support and looks forward to serving you again in 2022.
