Orpheus 30th Anniversary Celebration at Arlington Park
The Orpheus Hellenic Folklore Society (OHFS) is pleased to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a special event taking place at the beautiful Arlington Park Race Track in Arlington Heights.
The theme of the event is "Dance The Distance," and will include a full dinner buffet, dance and music performances and live Greek music.
Dedicated to advancing the rich history and traditions of Greek folk dancing, songs and music, OHFS shares their vision through dance and music performances, workshops, lectures and publications.
Since its founding in 1989, OHFS has performed internationally in Thessaloniki, Athens and also represented Greece in the 1994 World Cup opening ceremonies at Soldier Field in Chicago. Today, the group continues to perform at various cultural and civic functions throughout the Chicagoland area.
