Big Greek Food Fest of Niles (2021)

St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church hosted its annual "Big Greek Food Fest of Niles" where guests enjoyed great food, drinks, live music, dancing, gift shopping, cooking demonstrations and more.

Specialty food items included souvlaki, Athenian chicken, pastichio, moussaka, spinach pie (spanakopita), salads, grilled octopus, dolmades and a nice selection of beer, wine and soft drinks. The pastry tent and coffee shop served Greek desserts including baklava, greek cookies and of course, loukoumades (hot deep-fried honey puffs)!

Live entertainment was provided by RYTHMOS band and the DIONYSOS Greek dance troupe. The entire church staff thanks everyone for their support and looks forward to serving you again in 2022.

Johnny's Kitchen & Tap in Glenview hosted Octoberfest in the Tent, a weeklong celebration of great food, fellowship, live music and dancing.

Customers feasted on Johnny's famous rotisserie pork loin, chicken schnitzel, bratwurst, regular menu items and plenty of German beer including Hacker-Pschorr Weisse, Hofbrau Octoberfest, Krombacher and Steigl.

Taste of Greektown - Chicago (2019)

The Taste of Greektown celebrated its 30th year as Chicago's ultimate Greek Fest, serving guests with three days of authentic Greek food, music, dancing, culture and fun.

Participants enjoyed delicious food from Greektown's famous Greek restaurants including popular items like Souvlaki, Roast Lamb, Grilled Octopus, Pastichio, Moussaka, Gyros, Athenian Chicken and more.

The Jesse White Tumblers entertained the crowds with their amazing show (Sat & Sun), while the dance troupe from the Orpheus Hellenic Folklore Society (OHFS) performed Sunday night. Devanco foods also hosted their 4th annual gyros eating contest.
