Oak Lawn Greek Fest at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church

St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Oak Lawn welcomed everyone to its annual Greek Fest where happy visitors enjoyed great food and fun for the entire family.

Guests enjoyed popular Greek food items including gyros, souvlaki, pastichio, spanakopita (spinach pie), athenian-style chicken plus Greek coffee, frappe and a nice selection of authentic pastries.

Live entertainment provided by STRUNG OUT (Saturday) and RYTHMOS (Sunday). The weekend crowds also enjoyed dance performances by St. Nicholas Junior Dance Troupe and Paradosis.

St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Taste of Greece Festival, Elmhurst

St.Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Elmhurst hosted its annual Greek Fest over Father's Day weekend where thousands of guests enjoyed great food, music, dancing, fun for the kids and more.

The "Taste of Greece" festival offered authentic Greek food including gyros, souvlaki, pastichio, chicken, saganaki, salad and much more.

Live music was provided by Hi-Infidelity (Friday), American English (Saturday), and the Panopoulos Orchestra along with Konstantinos Nazis (Sunday).

This event photo gallery is sponsored by Rose Garden Cafe — A favorite family restaurant in Elk Grove Village known for their signature breakfast dishes plus burgers, salads, chicken, pitas, steaks, bbq ribs and more. Banquet room available for 20 to 140 people.

St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago hosted its annual Lincoln Park Greek Fest May 31 thru June 2 where thousands of guests enjoyed authentic food, live music, dancing, arts & crafts, fun for the kids and more.

Happy participants feasted on souvlaki, gyros, pastichio, moussaka, spanakopita (spinach pie), salads, greek chicken and other fest favorites. Sweet treats included Greek frappe and St. George's famous Loukoumades (bite-sized dough balls dipped in honey).

Live entertainment was provided by Sixteen Candles and The Ormi Orchestra.
